I have John Daws (Dawes) and Elizabeth having children in Claypole, Lincs from 1736-1750.

The only marriage I can find is 28 Oct 1735 in Marston, Lincs. (Family Search)

John Dawes and Elisabeth Charters.

I have tried Lincs to the Past but the site just confuses me.

Can anyone find a marriage other than the one above? Or, do you think that one is logical?

Looks pretty likely as Claypole and Marston aren't too far apart. I was trying to find the marriage on Lincs to the Past to see whether it stated John's parish, but I can't see it. Maybe Elizabeth can find it on there!

I've been trying to use Lincs to the past, I know you use it.

Is there any way of viewing an image as full screen, it's driving me mad with this little image. I know it has a zoom tool but it's just stupid.

Marg, it is difficult to use, and it's taken me a long time to get used to it.

I've been looking for the marriage but the Marston register is a mess and everything seems to be out of sequence. I can't find many marriages at all at present. I'll keep looking for you.

I often find the stupid logo is over the word I want to view and I'm continually zooming in and out.

It's ridiculous. If you are trying to view the whole page it takes ages.

Marg, it's very difficult, especially with a name you can't read.

Who told them this was a good way of displaying the images. It's giving me a headache already.:mad::mad:

AN

You need to type:

Caythorpe par 1

in the box of the advanced search which says:
With the exact phrase

You get these results:

891594 of them. That'll keep me quiet for a while.

AN, you need to enter "Caythorpe par 1" in the box as I said - go to Advanced Search and enter the phrase in "with the exact phrase". You click search then you should get the PRs for Caythorpe. Unfortunately when I pasted the link it doesn't work.

Trying to see if this works.

Edit: no it doesn't, you'll have to do the search yourself but you should get the results.
