Oh how exciting, I'm just going to have to get it Elizabeth, thankyou so much - it won't be this month though as I've just blown 9.25 on a death cert and £6 on a will for someone who turned out not to be related!

I hope it's Joseph's father, Jill.

I have bought the will, and think it is that of Joseph's father William, he names his dear wife Elizabeth as sole executrix leaving her everything for the education and bringing up of his children (whom he does not name) and if she remarries his children to have £70 divided equally between them with 3 months of her remarriage.

Interesting! Shame that there are no other names though... Did it mention how many children? I've found four - as have you, I think.

No numbers or any clues, very inconsiderate of him!
