Can anyone spot them please? I'm looking for William and Lucy Bowdrey with their children Maud, George, Catherine (Kate), Florence,Walter and Edith

Oh dear, can't find them, had a good look about for Mauds born 1878 +/- 2 years, also for Lucys, no dice.

There is a william that dies in Thame reg district in 1883- he was 60 then though

Jess's post made me realise something........if Lucy was listed as wife rather than head (because Wm was alive but not at home) then Ancestry have probably listed her and her children with the surname of the family before them on the census.

That's exactly what they have done and Lucy etc are recorded as Alyffe in Wooburn, Bucks!
