I'm looking at a marriage entry for 1744 and the date.
It is the marriage of John Daddow to Mary Rundle on the right-hand page:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-267-11049-202463-6?cc=1769414&wc=MMVH-V84:1856582718
I'd like advice about the numbers - there is 1 with a superscript st. What is the squiggle next to the 1?
I have a book about old handwriting but it isn't very helpful on numbers, unfortunately.
