Finally I'm beginning to track these two ancestors.

I have had their marriage for some time, and backed it up with these:

Groom's Name: Henry Newbourn
Bride's Name: Catherine Codd
Marriage Date: 24 Aug 1722
Marriage Place: East Retford, Nottingham, England
Indexing Project (Batch) Number: M05907-2
System Origin: England-ODM
Source Film Number: 503811

Parish Records Collection 1538-2005marriage
Year of Marriage: 1722
Last Name: Newborn
First Name: Henry
Supplied First Name: Hen
Spouse's Last Name: Codd
Spouse's First Name: Catherine
Spouse's Supplied First Name: Cath
Place: Nottingham Archdeaconry Marriage Licences
County: Nottinghamshire
Record source: Boyd's 1st Misc Series 1538-1775

Now I have found this on Ancestry:

Text: 24 Aug 1722 Henry Newbund, nauta itinerarius, & Katherine Codd, of Hemswell, co. Linc., 22, spr.; at East Retford. Book: Marriages. (Marriage) Collection: Nottinghamshire: - Abstracts of Marriage Licences, 1701-1853

This is really helpful as I had burials for them both at Hemswell in Lincolnshire, and just a few days ago I came across a possible baptism for Katherine on Lincs to the Past. Most baptisms have been recorded by Family Search, but not this one.

All Saints Hemswell PR:
Katherine Codd Buried Feb 17th 1697
Katherine the Daughter of Dorithy Codd Baptised Feb the 26th 1697

I think the Katherine Codd (burial) directly above the baptism could well be the grandmother as I have a baptism for Dorothy:

Name: Dorothea Codd
Gender: Female
Baptism/Christening Date: 19 May 1666
Baptism/Christening Place: HEMSWELL,LINCOLN,ENGLAND
Father's Name: Johanis Codd
Mother's Name: Catherinae
Indexing Project (Batch) Number: C02917-2

I have to be careful though, as there are so many Codds in Hemswell!

Interesting to see that Henry Newbourn was some type of sailor. Now where did he come from?
