I am looking at the marriage entry for a couple on Lincs to the Past. It is fourth entry from the bottom on the left-hand side. A someone Holmes to a widow.
I won't say what I think or hope it says because I don't want to influence anyone!
Is his name Braham - as in Abraham?
I assume she is of Billingham, rather than that being a surname? If so, her Christian name looks like Susan, but I can't begin to guess at the surname.
Is his name Abraham with the first letter missing? A miller. And her name Susannah?? something beginning with Da?

Many thanks.
I think it is Abraham Holmes of Tattershall Miller and Susanna Dawson of Billingham Widdow.
FMP have this:
Day: 7
Month: Nov
Year: 1705
Groom Forename(s): Abraham
Groom Surname: Holmes
Bride Forename(s): Susannah
Bride Surname: Dawson
Parish: Kirkby on Bain
Deanery: Horncastle
County: Lincolnshire
Notes: AH Tattershall. SD widowed.
Record source: Lincolnshire Marriage Index
Susanna's husband Richard Dawson was only buried in August the same year at Billinghay so she didn't waste any time. He was a miller too.
Now I wonder where they lived after the marriage.
By the way, Family Search have Abraham transcribed as William.
Now I wonder where they lived after the marriage
