For those that use rootsweb apparently 200 of the boards have new administrators due to lack of use on some??!!.

I got a digest saying that the TIREE board were particularly upset with their administrator being sacked and a new administrator appointed.

Someone said that there was a notice at the end of a couple of messages which most contributors hadn't seen it and this man applied and was given the board.

Yes Kite - its the different surnames and places boards

That might explain the message I got from the admin of one of the county boards the other day; I bet s/he was new to the job and a bit over-eager.

Yes I think they're trying to drum up trade so that their boards look busy.
