Well, it might say Jemmemma - basically it's a J and a load of scrawl! Ancestry have transcribed it as Jemmina and it could be that.

Hmmm, that Jemima on the censuses is the mother of Henry who was born about 1828 (he is down as her son on the 1851), so her husband was Jeremiah, according to the baptisms on FamilySearch. But it says they had a Mary Ann baptised in 1823, and I can't see a Mary about 1807 on there.

But - there is another Jemima on the 1841 and 1851 censuses, who is 75 in 1841 and 84 in 1851, widow, born Cowlinge. I wonder if she could be your Mary's mother?

After trawling 56 pages of Jemima’s in LDS site the only marriage I can find that fits is

So, it now looks as though the Jemima you found on the censuses is the right one, and her husband was Jeremiah, not Joseph, and her maiden name was Radford.

There are two Jemima Radford baptisms at Great Bradley - one 4 Jul 1784, daughter of James and Elizabeth, and one 15 Jan 1786, daughter of James and Mary.
