Provided by Glamorgan FHS. I'm not sure whether this is new or just updated but definitely worth a look even if you have Findmypast as FamilySearch's search facility is more flexible so you can do a parent search and stuff like that. The transcriptions look to be very accurate and complete judging by the ones I have looked at so far.

And I've already found a missing child to add to my tree! With common surnames, it would take a month of Sundays on FMP to look through all the possibles and find children who you don't know about who died young, but you can do it in seconds on FamilySearch!

Now I've found out my great-grandfather had a sister who I never found before. She died as a baby. This really does show how useless the Findmypast index is.

That is the drawback to FMP. The transcriptions are far more accurate but that is useless as you can't find the record in the first place. To me it is a money making system.

But thanks for the news some of my family went there.

I've just found another girl in that family, and she died as a baby too. This is so sad.

Don't PRs make such a difference? I remember finding my great x 3 grandparents' big family of 8 was actually a huge family of 15 - that odd mix of joy at finding information and sadness at such a lot of loss.
