I've found a baptism for a child who looks likely to be one of Matthew and Isabella's children, but with the mother's name given as Elizabeth (on Lancashire OPC). I have seen Isabella being interchangeable with Elizabeth before but I have never thought to search for Isabella using the name Elizabeth. Off to have another look... Edit - it was a different family.

There is an Isabella Hardman, daughter of William baptised 21 Aug 1763 at Poulton le Fylde, Lancashire, abode Thornton, but nothing to say they were Catholics so not sure whether this is the right one. There are a few burials of children at Kirkham in the 1750's and 1760's with father Robert Kirkham who don't seem to have baptisms on Lancs OPC so perhaps she fits into that family? There are a lot of Hardmans in the area.
