Apologies if I posted this before.
Last August I received a pm on flickr.com regarding gt gran's neice, Eliza Brand Looker.
I will pm the name of the sender if necessary.
She is descended from Eliza's husband's brother and said she saw a query I'd posted on a genealogy forum. Sadly she didn't name the forum and there have been no other pms from her.
I didn't see her message until October last and tried the e-mail she gave, with no luck and also left a reply on flickr but there's been no word.
I'd like to make contact because Eliza's father is a mystery and there's a vague chance that she might know something. I have his name (Robert Brand Looker) from Eliza's marriage cert. although he's not mentioned on her birth cert. so the name could be fictitious.
Her mother, Jane Looker, never married and I can not successfully locate Robert on any census.
Any ideas ?
