Thank you yes thats what I thought.

Informant on William Walker's death so presumably he is married to a sibling of either William or his wife Jane as Jane only had one brother it seems then it must be a sister of William, I've been looking for a marriage to get the name of the sister! Not having much luck.

Brother in law could also mean step-brother or possibly half-brother.
