I did a lot of the indexing on this database, so I know that a lot of what it contains is from special editions of the German Police Gazette from WW2, despite the title and description of the database. (There are also some records that fit with the actual description.)

There are lots of escaped prisoners of war included (including Douglas Bader and some Colditz escapees!) and also a lot of the records are "missing persons" or "wanted".

Because it's one of the USHMM databases, the images aren't on ancestry and you have to apply to the USHMM for a copy of any image you would like to see.

If you're looking for escaped POW's bear in mind that their names may have been "Germanified", e.g. Pat Reid is listed as Patrik. Also not all escaped POW's are included (I don't think they had a complete set of the Police Bulletins.)
