Francis Harris 1871 census

Can anyone spot his?

Francis Harris was born about 1837 in Keelby, Lincs.

Got him 1841 - 1861, 1881 - 1901.

In 1861 he's a servant at Yaddlethorpe, Lincs.

In 1881 he's with his widowed mother in Grasby, Lincs. He's listed as a widower tho the only marriage I have for his is in 1888 at Hull to Mary Ann Hopkins so I don't know if it's an error or i'm missing a marriage.

I suppose the 1888 marriage certificate would say whether he was a bachelor or a widower. I can't see him in 1871 at the moment.

Ah, if his father is Francis as well (and if I'm looking at the right 1841 census entry, he is) then there is a marriage on FamilySearch, Francis Harris age 28 married Mary Beech age 21, 16 Oct 1865 at Hibaldstow, Lincolnshire, his father Francis Harris, her father John Beech.

And then there is a burial for Mary Harris 4 Jul 1871 at Hibaldstow, age 27. So they should both be on the 1871 census - I'll have another look.

He's listed as Harriss on the marriage index for that 1865 marriage, by the way.

Will have to see what happened to John, he certainly doesn't appear with any of the other Harris' i've been looking at.
