It's possible that the OPR images for Joseph and Jean's marriage and for their children's baptisms might give you more information, such as Joseph's occupation, possibly names of relatives.

Hi Kite,

Yes I probably should buy some more credits - I've sort of been waiting until they have another free offer.

I've got lots of census transcriptions but not many OPRs. I don't remember if OPRs have occupation as early as the 1790s though.

It just depends on the particular parish, Diane, some do have lots of info and some don't.
