Have you already looked into Sarah Welch baptised 13 Feb 1748 at Braughing, parents William and Mary?

I saw that one and had put it down as a possible. I also bought a PCC will for a Wm that looked like a good fit (1777) in the hope of proof that was the right bap, but though he had a daughter called Sarah she was about ten years younger than mine.

The trouble is, there are a few surrounding parishes which are not on the IGI so it's difficult to say there isn't a better fit.

I shall keep plugging away though!

I need to check I know she is a spinster as well (have a feeling I don't know that yet), but don't have access to my tree at the mo.
