As a result of a thread I posted in March (!) I have just received, via an inter library loan from the National Library of Australia, a booklet about the above ship. Unfortunately it's not the one I wanted but as I have it for a few weeks I'm happy to look for any rellies you think may have sailed on her.

It lists crew and passengers and reproduces a lot of the correspondence between various civil servants, ships officers etc. There was an outbreak of typhoid that kept the ship in quarantine at Maryborough when it arrived and there is log of that period listing what they ate, complaints etc.

It's a really interesting read I just wish it was my family listed!

It's along shot but are there any mentions of a John/Henry John/Henry Blackmore? He would be born anywhere from 1846 to 1858, probably 1846.
