Could he be the George Moore baptised 24 Sep 1815 at Cuckney, parents George and Elizabeth? The full name of the parish is usually given as Norton Cuckney but FamilySearch just shows it as Cuckney. It includes the village of Norton. Doesn't George's marriage certificate state his father's name?

I have some Moores from Norton Cuckney in my tree but they were in the village of Langwith and I haven't got a George. Maybe we'll find a connection one day though!

Oooh, not sure Kite. I hadnt heard of Norton Cuckney before. I will try and dig around further.

The marriage I found online for George & Mary did state that George's father was also called George Moore so there is a good possibility that the baptism you found is our George :)

Would be lovely if there was a connection somewhere :)
