Does anyone have information about Guernsey in the mid-19th century, involving Symonds/Simmonds/however, and possibly the Levy family for whom at least one of them worked.

1851 Channel Islands Census has Daniel Simmonds, wife Catherine and son Ernest living in St. Sampson.

There's a family headed by Ann Levy in St Peter Port, that has Mary Simons, 22, working as a housemaid.

St Peter Port also has a family headed by William Symonds, wife Rebecca, 9 children and his father, also called William.
