I was going to say barrister, but decorator looks more likely

I couldn't read it at all but on a census 10 years before it says house painter :)

Definitely decorator.

I have a whole batch of them that vary census to census from decorators to house painters to glaziers
(and an odd line that were "plumbers and glaziers". Still not sure how those two connect)

Plumbers to glaziers is easy!

Plumbers were originally working with lead (lead water pipes etc) and glazing was done with lead too. So, early 19th century plumbers were really lead workers.
