Name - "official" name and what they were known as
James BACON

Date and place of birth
c. 1783 according to age at death
Possibly St George Hanover Square Westminster as this was his PoS but more likely Derby/Leics/Notts as this is where the surnames BACON & GREENSMITH (given as a middle name to all his daughters) seem most common. In addition his 2nd child Mary Ann c. 1815 is not born in county in 1841 & twice has a birthplace Notts & once Leics. The 3rd child Sarah may also have been born there as she is buried in Hitchin Herts in 1821 the year following the baptism of the 4th child. Eldest child George is baptised in Hitchin in 1812 & 3 more in 1823, 1825 & 1828.
