What information is on these? I have just seen an ancestry tree with one of my twigs emigrating to Pennsylvania. I know several families went out there as coalminers but I had not found this one. He is Henry Durbin born about 1857 in or near Midsummer Norton Somerset. I have a possible marriage to Annie Crew. His parents were Robert Durbin and Elizabeth Kingston. There is a Henry Kingston wife Annie in 1901 but that one gives his birth place as Nailsea.

This is the last sight I have of Henry: The 1871 Census - Midsomer Norton Parish - 6 - Resident at Cornhill Cottages, Clandown - Schedule 83

I found a US passport application from 1895 for one of my rellies and it has quite a bit of information on such as date and place of birth, date of emigration, place sailed from, name of ship (not filled in on my rellie's form), residence, place and date of naturalisation, occupation, expected date of return to the US, signature, description of the applicant, and signature of a witness.
