What does PMS mean?

At the start of a memorial inscription?

Someone asked this question when we were looking round a local church this afternoon and none of us knew the answer.

Any ideas anyone?

I found this by googling, AN:

Piae Memoriae Sacrum - it means pious to his/her sacred memory.

I must admit, I didn't know. :(
