Almondbury/Slaithwaite, Yorkshire

I'm trying to nudge a brick wall regarding the mother of Alice Pogson. Alice, according to 1851 Census aged 60, so born C 1789/91 Slaithwaite? On 1841 Census says her age was 50 which is rounded, but the date on 1851 Census is not clear. I have found a baptism of Alice Pogson 29/9/1787 at Almondbury, which I believe is 5 miles from Slaithwaite, father Joseph, mother not named. I looked for marriages of Joseph Pogson in that area and found six: Sarah Dransfield 18/7/1770 St. Peter Huddersfield; Hannah Hoyle 25/6/1772 St. Peter Huddersfield; Mary Lockwood 9/7/1772 Almondbury; Mary Renar 4/9/1775 Almondbury; Sarah Brayshaw 22/9/1777 Almondbury; and Hannah Broadbent 8/2/1784 St. Peter Huddersfield.
Any ideas as to how I can nudge the wall?

Look for all the baptisms of children with father Joseph Pogson and try to sort them into families. Have a look at the actual parish register entries as there might be more info, e.g. abode, father's occupation. Get names of witnesses at Pogson marriages in case Alice turns up as a witness on one or more. And look for wills.

Oh, and see if anyone else has her in their tree and if they have a name shown for her mother, of course don't take it as correct but use it as a starting point and try to find something to prove or disprove it.
