But what does the last heading say after Sentenced
http://search.ancestry.co.uk/iexec?htx=View&r=5538&dbid=1183&iid=IMAUS1787_114232-00055&fn=William&ln=Walter&st=r&ssrc=&pid=247596
I think it says How disposed of.
The names underneath are their new "employers"

ooh thanks that's what I thought it meant.
So if someone is on this list Australian Pardons and Ticket of leave 1842-1845
http://search.ancestry.co.uk/iexec?htx=View&r=5538&dbid=1184&iid=IMAUS1787_114248-00227&fn=William&ln=Walter&st=r&ssrc=&pid=69815
Then he was pardoned, by the way its William Walter - Northampton Lent Assizes convictions 1 March 1834 - Horse Stealing sentenced to life and transported to Australia in 1834.
This is what it says on page#1 of that section of the register

Thank you.
Yes I read that eventually I'll see if I can find what happened to him after that.
He is a distant married in relation to my lot but I'm intrigued to know what happened to him.
He left a wife and 11 children behind in England.
I like to that too when I find something a bit different to the norm:)
