Sylvia, it looks as though there were RIGSBYs in South Cerney, so you could use that spelling too when searching.

Sylvia, do the names of her children give any clues as to her possible parents? If there were an Al(l)en you might have a clue!

Thank you for looking Elizabeth, i have only found one child for this couple, a daughter Ann born 1816,

England & Wales Christening Records, 1530-1906
about Ann Bunce
Name: Ann Bunce
Gender: Female
Birth Date: 18 Jun 1816
Christening Date: 14 Jul 1816
Christening Place: Wanborough, Wiltshire, England
Age at Christening: 0
Father's Name: James Bunce
Mother's Name: Mary

The death you found looks right, James death is listed in Highworth.

Hmm, wonder if the second baptism you found is the right one with the mother being Mary ?.

Elizabeth, I see Wanborough is on the NBI. I wondered if any of Mary's Rigsby relations had come there with her and been buried there? I noticed there is only one bap on the IGI for children of Allan and Mary in South Cerney.

Merry, there is just one Rigsby for the whole county, unfortunately.

I've been pming Sylvia with lots of baptisms for James Bunce's father Edward because I didn't want to clog up this thread!

I had the same thought Merry, was going to have a look tonight, to see if it would give me an idea which was the right baptism.

Thanks to Elizabeth i have added another 9 children to the 2 i had for James Bunce`s parents.
