The business went broke in the 30's, my dad destroyed the paperwork after granddad died.

Yes, but there is more than one Albert Bannister so not sure which one he is. Had a scar on his head from a wound. Dad's cousin says he was gassed, Dad knew nothing about it and aunty says that's wrong.
