Name - "official" name and what they were known as – Harry Gustavus Tivers, also known as ‘Pop’ to his son-in-law and ‘Pop-Pop’ to his two grandchildren.

Date and place of birth - 29 May 1900, Hammersmith, London

Names of parents – Charles Raffel Tivers and Clara Ellen Tivers (nee Paines)

Details of each of his or her marriages – to Florence Carsons on 14 May 1923 at Wandsworth Register Office, London

Occupation(s) – Bus Conductor, Bus Inspector then, after retirement from London Transport, he was a clerical officer at the Public Carriage Office.

Military service – none found, but I am sure I have seen a photo of him in army uniform.

May 1900 – born in Hammersmith, London, possibly Brackenbury Road. Need to check birth certificate.
1901 Census– 29 Chandos Street, St Nicholas, Hereford until at least 1905 when brother Sidney was born. He was back in London (Fulham?) in October 1908 when his eldest brother married.
1911 Census– St Aubins, Pirbright Road, Southfields, London.
February 1916 - 282 Merton Road, Southfields, London (sister’s marriage)
May 1923 – on marriage certificate, 282 Merton Road, Southfields, London
August 1924 – on daughter’s birth certificate, 282 Merton Road, Southfields, London
From about 1930 until his death, Hambledon Road, Southfields, London

Date, place and cause of death – 17 March 1969, St James Hospital, Balham, London of coronary heart disease

Date and place of cremation – Putney Vale Crematorium, London, March 1969

Details of will / administration of their estate – all estate left to his widow
