Someone on ancestry has Teresa down in their tree as marrying Francis William Jays, but if it is her, her name is Teresa C Green on the marriage index (1933 Market Harborough). Death entry for Teresa Cecily Jays in Jan 1994 Kettering, born 26 Sep 1905. I haven't managed to find a Hemmings / Green connection yet though. But there must be a few children missing from that census so maybe one of them is Teresa's mother and married a Green.

I've only ever thought of Teresa Green as the author of "Forestry for Beginners"!
