Nothing to add to BK6 from this thread

Does anyone know which FH program this report has been generated from? (I've deleted the surnames for privacy as it's not my family)

The rectangles that contain the words '1st Generation', '2nd Generation (Parents)' and '3rd generation (Grandparents)' are pale grey, but that has been lost in the scanning.

Thanks for looking.

It's fun googling around to find people who have used the same software but I haven't worked out what it is yet! I just found someone whose tree went back to
42nd Generation (Great(39)-Grandparents)
Childebrand was born 685.
Father: Pepin le Gros was born 655.
Mother: Alpais was born 655.

It looks very much like ones that Generations 8 used to produce, but I don't have that program any more so can't check.

I used to have that too Wendy but I don't think it is.

I think I know the answer, but it's filed in a part of my brain that refuses to be accessed! I won't remember it until someone says it. Feel it's only one word and maybe beginning with L, but not Legacy as I've used that.

Not Legacy and not Brother's Keeper I think.

It looks very dated in style.

You're right it's not Brother's Keeper - that's what I use and if you think what I posted looks old fashioned, then you haven't compared it to BK!! lol

Is there something called Legends?

Looks like the reports my family historian produces

I have Family Historian which produces Narrative Reports and within this Narrative Report are three options.

Ancestors by Generation
Descendants by Generation
Individual Narrative

The top of the sheet states "Ancestors of .......followed by name of person and the date created ie 6 July 2011 and at the bottom of the sheet it says Produced by Family Historian.

So if there is no name at the top and no name of software at the bottom and no date then it does suggest a much older version of some other programme.

I have spoken to the person who printed it, but said they have never used a FH prog and it turns out they had used Legends but had forgotten.

They tried to tell me I had printed the paper , but I know I can spell Pretoria and Walthamstow, so it wasn't me!
