Edward Mandry Evans, a coal hewer. Mabel's residence was given as 13 Dyffryn Row, Nantyffyllon. Her father was one of the witnesses.
Edward and Mabel had 7 children. In later years they lived at White Hart Cotts, Llangynwyd, Glamorgan.
Mabel witnessed both her son Rhydian's marriages, 1942 to Dorothy Muriel Jennings at Llangynwyd Parish church, Glamorgan, and 1949 to Edna Carter at Ruislip Methodist Church, Ruislip, Middlesex.
Mabel was widowed in 1984.
She died 1st Feb 1990 at Maesteg Hospital and was buried 7th Feb 1990 in Llangynwyd churchyard with her husband under the window next to their pew in church.
