john oakes and mary brooke

Good morning...someone on Rootschat has informed me that in the 1851 census there is a John Oakes aged 24 and his wife Mary aged 20 in Church Minshull ,Cheshire...it states on the census that Mary is born in Garston

I have found on Record Pilot

22nd April 1850 Church Minshull
John Oakes to Mary Brooke ....Johns father is Thomas Oakes

now...I have always thought my Daniel Oakes came to Garston for the work situation in 1871...I am now wondering whether Daniel came to Garston because maybe he knew family here ?....ie maybe Brooke in Garston was his contact ....so I now will go and see if I can find a christening for Mary Brooke abt 1830/31 in Garston....could someone please see if Mary Brooke aged 10 is in Garston in the 1841 census please....back soon, and thankyou

Richard Brooks and Elizabeth as parents....on record pilot
on marriage it is Brooke ...christening says Brooks ...is this 2 different people ?

so 1841 census should have
Richard Brooks
Elizabeth Brooks
Mary Brooks
does 1841 census give an address ???

1841 census they are living in Church Minshull ,Cheshire. Surname spelt Brookes

Allan, in that period my Moore family are spelt Moor, Moors, Moores. I even have more than one spelling on a single certificate. I would not be fussed about an S.
