I have looked but there are so many databases on Ancestry.

Does anyone know if they have any passenger lists from UK to NZ or did anyone going to NZ have to go to Australia first and then transfer to another shipping line?

Timeline between 1865 and 1900.

Findmypast has passenger lists for voyages to NZ starting in 1890, if that's any help. I can't see any on ancestry.
