According to this family tree - http://trees.ancestry.co.uk/tree/4739505/person/-527886732?ssrc= Samuel Graham Nesbitt arrived in America in 1898 according to the 1920 census.
Could someone kindly tell me what other information is given about him in the 1920 census? Thank you.

Another puzzle solved :)

Oh you are in an area from where some of my Brooks ancestors came (bad grammar?!) :)

I have Brooks in my OH's family who were in Shoreditch and Bethnal Green.

As an aside can you see the photos on that tree?

Oh :) My Robert Brooks and Elizabeth Gifford married in St Leonards, Shoreditch, 20 July 1794. Not an unusual surname though, Brooks :)

Yes, I can indeed, thank you, they are brilliant photos - Samuel Graham Nesbitt is a cousin of my grandmother and his mother is a sister of my great-grandmother; however, a descendant of his mother has put incorrect information about Samuel in America. I have just received information about his death in Ireland, in 1918, from the influenza epidemic, and I wanted to make sure that it did not state he was Samuel Graham in the American census because that would have confused me! Also, the occupation was not his; he was a shoemaker.
I am in contact with the descendants that have put the information in the trees and shall give them the new information.

Well we do have a Robert Brooks but he was born 1840 but he is the son of Samuel Brooks born 1804 baptised 1805 at St Leonard Shoreditch he was the son of William Brooks and Elizabeth Griffiths and the only siblings I have for him at the moment is William and John.

Samuel was a Seal Maker. :)

Ah, all the children of my Robert and Elizabeth were baptised in Westminster.

However, my great-grandfather's sisters, Mary Ann Harriet Brooks, born in 1857, and Elizabeth Brooks, born in 1860, were baptised in St John the Baptist, Shoreditch.
