I'm so excited I just have to share!!!

After many years of searching I have made contact with the grand-daughter of my dad's cousin. Her great grandfather and his brother (my great uncles) left Suffolk to work in Burton on Trent in the 1890s and contact seems to have been lost between them and the rest of the family. Margaret in Burton very kindly traced them up to the 1930s but the trail went cold.

My new second cousin once removed lives in Canada and I'm so impatient waiting for Canada to wake-up. She has photos to share. Brilliant!!!

Ooh, that's really exciting, Jane. I think there's a few hours to go yet till they get up in Canada, though.

Yes, I know Kate - I will have to try and keep myself busy today or it will seem to be a very long day! I don't know where in Canada she lives and of course if it's in the west the wait will be even longer.

Thanks Babs, just had another message from her and it's all looking very good. Should be getting some photos at the weekend - can't wait. I think she's even more excited than me, if that's possible, but she needs help to get the photos onto her computer.
