Thanks Jay, wonder if Gurney Villa was a place or house?

Hi Daphne

Gurney Villa was a long row of terraced houses, what's left of of them are now called Gurney Valley. My own Curry's lived at Gurney Valley but not until the 1880's.

There's lots of interesting info on this site
