View Full Version : Hackney birth c. 1907 - would it be on Ancestry's LMA records?

I'm trying to tie down the birth registration for Arthur Walker whose parents were William and Sarah Ann, nee Robinson.

According to the 1911 census he was born c. 1907 at Hackney N.E.

There are a few possibles so I wanted to find the right one.

The LMA births and baptisms on ancestry go up to 1906, but I can't see him on there.

Thanks for looking, Kate. I also have his brother Frederick, born c. 1904, who is elusive.

I have been amusing myself today before the impending nuptials on Saturday. I shall be otherwise engaged until Monday, although I might try to participate in 3xgreat-grandparent before we get bogged down!

You might need Hackney Archives - not sure whether they have parish records not on LMA records.

That database should be free even if you don't have a sub, Elizabeth. Isn't it? If not then you should be able to find it on FreeBMD's own site anyway as it comes from them.

Mother's Maiden Name is Robinson
Hackney, Greater London.
