He's a widower on the marriage to Ellen, as you've no doubt noticed already. Witnesses Elizth Mary Wilson and Saml Ames. but Saml Ames is on nearly all the marriages.

Also Sarah 4 Jun 1820, with Francis' occupation given as Carpenter. DOB 4 Mar 1820.

Charlotte received into the church at Camden Queen Square St George the Martyr 22 Oct 1830, note says Baptised at Shoreditch, said to be born December 28 1821. Abode Lambs Conduit Passage, occupation Bedstead Maker.

Then there is another baptism for Harriet 28 Jan 1833 at Shoreditch St Leonard, Union Walk, Cabinet Maker, date of birth 18 Nov 1823.

Yes that is my ancestor Harriet Smith who married John Worley.

I have those baptisms for her siblings Sarah and Charlotte but they are confusing I have no idea why Charlotte was baptised twice.

When I posted that thread I assumed Harriet's mother was named Elizabeth because someone had given me that informationa little while ago but it was incorrect.

I think in Charlotte's case her first baptism would have been a private one, and the second one is when she was publicly received into the church, but not sure what the reason is for Harriet's. At least we can be sure it's the same person because of her date of birth. I have one like that in my tree which I've never fathomed out either.

Insured: Ann Bates Smith and Francis Smith
Other property or occupiers: 3 St Pauls Church Yard (Graham upholsterer and cabinet maker)

I wonder if we can figure out whether this is your Francis.
