I should mention that it also includes people who held property in England and Wales but died elsewhere.

Dumbo question - I have found loads of Wills relating to my family, how do I now go about ordering a copy?

Think it still costs £5 for a postal copy, anyway, you can download the form PA1S and send it to York, or if you can get to one of the probate offices I believe you can get a copy there and then.

sorry, Kate. I was a bit excited so hit ancestry straight away

*hangs head in shame*

Anyway - I have already had a *screeeeeeeeeeeeeeam* moment with an early find!!!! Something I thought I'd never find out.................
